Recommended Infantry?

Right now that my resources are lvl 13 and ive got my buildings all up (most of them anyway), what type of soldiers should i train more often, i was thinking heavy cavalry and sword dancers, and maybe long bowman aswell? all trained to the max, only asking because most of you guys have been playing more than me and have more experience, any tips would be helpfull

I use Sword dancer and heavy cavalry, i will add longbowman and Lancer after and test different combinaison (arrange) to have the best result in battle.my upgrade are lv6 in armor and weapon acually.But i have to build posthouse very high for the Union and the Republic.

From what I see, infantry is not very good. The best combo is heavy cavalry + best shooters in your race...

Statistics show that they can take out many other branches without heavy losses and they have best stats.

I don't have the longbowman so i use sword dancer in first line and heavy in the back against the other light troop, i have nearly no loss but i will test before choose the best combo.

i need 13625 wood 10520 stones 16745 iron 9740 food to build the lv6... lot of ressource and i have posthouse to build for the coordination of the Empire armies..So much work , longbowmen will wait a bit

for dawrfs, what should i do
right now, im going with gunner and guard and some duelers
i will have a lvl 6 infantary finished in like 7 hours and my lvl3 calvary done later
what should i get?

Makuri, if you have somebody to farm right now you should build some troops to farm it, if not you should wait and invest in better troops, they are far better then low level troops. I am dwarf too and from what I can see Guards are very good and hard to kill, and there are defenders who are the toughest cavalry in the game. Duelists are ok, gunner suck, wait for snipers and destroyers, they are both very good.

When I get some more free time (when I finish my master thesis) I will put all these units and numbers in excel so it will be very easy to compare.

lol they have done me only good so far, well i guess thats cuz i got 117 of them -.-
and yea i have 50 snipers and not a single one die in a battle ever!
guards, they failed me but tahts cuz i put them in the first slot. or maybe they just arnt that good.
il try defenders :O but they say its good for calvery though

i checked the def on the destroyer. pretty crazy :O

whats so good about destroyers?
and what is the difference in combat power and calvery or invantery attack
